Residents Invited to Local Network Drop-ins

26th of May, 2026

Residents in County Durham can find out more about their Local Network at a series of information events.

Each of the 12 Local Network's will be hosting drop-in sessions for residents throughout June.

Residents and partners can meet their Local Network team, find out what areas they cover, and how the networks function.

They can discover how to share their views about, and priorities for, their local area via each network's Local Network Community Forum and learn more about our consultations platform; Let's Talk County Durham.

There is also the chance to hear about funding opportunities the Local Networks may have available in the future.

Address local issues

Cllr Dawn Bellingham, our Cabinet member for communities and civic resilience, said: "Our Local Networks play a key part in enhancing our communities by bringing together residents, councillors, businesses and partner organisations.

"The activities of the networks are guided by the priorities of each local community, so we would encourage residents to get involved and help shape their local area.

"Our drop-in events are an excellent opportunity for communities to find out more about the Local Networks and how they can help address local issues and priorities."
